IIT Gandhinagar has announced the recruitment for the Junior Research Fellow (JRF) position in 2025. Candidates with an M.Sc. or BS-MS degree in Chemistry, Physics, or Material Science, and a minimum of 60% or equivalent grade from graduation onwards, are eligible to apply. Additionally, candidates must have qualifications such as GATE, CSIR-UGC NET, or other qualifications from national level examinations conducted by central government agencies like DST, DRDO, ICMR, IISc, and others. Age relaxation will be provided as per government rules. The last date to apply is 25th December 2025. Qualification

  • A consistently good academic record (a minimum of 60% or equivalent grade from Graduation onwards and 55% or equivalent grade in class 10th and 12th).
  • M.Sc. or BS-MS in Chemistry, Physics, or Material Science.
  • Candidates with GATE or CSIR-UGC NET qualification or with qualification in National Level Examination conducted by Central Government Departments and their agencies and institutions such as DST, DBT, DAE, DOS, DRDO, MoE, ICAR, ICMR, IIT, IISc, IISER, NISER etc.

Stipend

  • 37,000 INR per month
