Gujarat Subordinate Service Selection Board (GSSSB) has released an advertisement for 20 posts of Field Officer, Class-III. The appointment will be on regular basis in the pay matrix as per Level-6 after completion of the initial fixed pay period. Eligible graduates in Social Work / Sociology / Psychology can apply online through OJAS on or before 05-12-2025.

Application Fee

Application fee: Rs. 500 for General category and Rs. 400 for reserved categories, refundable for candidates who actually appear in the examination, as per instructions in the advertisement.

Age Limit

Minimum 18 years and maximum 35 years as on 05-12-2025 for general category. Relaxation in upper age limit is available for reserved categories and other eligible candidates as per Gujarat Government rules (up to around 45 years for some categories).

Qualification

Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Sociology or Psychology from a recognised university, along with basic computer knowledge as per Gujarat Civil Services Rules and adequate knowledge of Gujarati and/or Hindi language.

Selection Process

Selection will be through written/OMR based examination and/or computer test as prescribed by GSSSB. The final merit list will be prepared based on marks obtained and document verification.

After registration, candidates must fill all details carefully, upload photograph and signature, pay the application fee online and submit the form.
